Industrial Painter (Powder Coat / Wet Spray)

Job Summary: Responsible for performing all aspects of powder coat painting including part preparation, painting, and packing.

Looking for Candiadates Available: 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to quality and safety standards
  • Prepare parts to be painted by cleaning, wiping, rubbing, or drying with cleaners, cloths and / or rags
  • Place parts on racks in a pattern to ensure proper and even coating
  • Mask parts according to prints or samples using tapes, thread guards, and / or other masking materials
  • Wet Spray or powder Coat parts according to customer specifications and work instructions or best practices
  • Package parts according to customer specifications and work instructions or best practices
  • Record quantities, and time in JobBOSS
  • Ensure quality products are received and processed through the paint shop area
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience: Minimum one year demonstrated Industrial Paint experience is a must.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Specialized Skills, Training or Abilities:

  • Ability to wet spray and / or powder coat
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Ability to prepare, mask, and package parts
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push or pull up to fifty pounds
  • Ability to walk, stand, crouch, bend, reach, or climb for prolonged periods of time

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a production plant environment with limited exposure to elements such as dust, noise, fumes or temperature changes, and with limited exposure to mechanical, electrical, fire, chemical, or other hazards.
